ROMÉE, SHIRTMAKER FOR WOMEN

A garment of yesterday and today, the shirt has stood the test of time. Often accessorised or accompanied by a waistcoat, shirts, blouses and bodices have evolved in terms of shape, materials and finishing, becoming part of a coded wardrobe and a must-have item.

FAUSTINE, FOUNDER AND DESIGNER OF ROMÉE

A LEGACY OF PASSION

Faustine has always been immersed in the fashion industry, consistently choosing beautiful materials and paying meticulous attention to detail.

This passion for elegant cuts and beautiful basics for women's wardrobes has been passed down through three generations of women.

With a degree in Cinema followed by a degree in Fashion Design, Faustine began her career working alongside designer Valentine Gauthier before joining the Modetrotter team as a stylist and production manager. In both environments, she demonstrated her capabilities and, supported by exceptional collaborators, embraced increasingly ambitious design endeavors.

It took her eight years to perfect her skills and finally get ready to launch her own business.

What resonates with me is the concept of inheritance: the jackets from my grandmothers, my grandfather's scarf that I wear around my neck, the shirts I first borrowed from my mother, then my father, and now from my husband. So why not draw inspiration from them and push the boundaries of innovation?
